DiGi reveals price for Sony Xperia S. RRP at RM1899. Get yours for RM1149 with DiGi Smart Plan.

Thanks to DiGi, we finally got to know that the RRP of Sony Xperia S is RM1899. DiGi has mentioned that you can get this device in your hands on 16th March, a day after the official launch in Malaysia if you make an order via DiGi’s Online Store (well, that is subjected to several conditions as usual).
As usual, you can get this phone at a cheaper price when you subscribe to DiGi Smart Plan. Below are the details :

The screen shot above was taken from DiGi’s Facebook page. From the image above, you know that DiGi will be the next to announce something about the Sony Xperia S, after U Mobile. I am very sure that they are not going to start selling tomorrow, because the official launch date for this device in Malaysia is only on the 15th, which is next Thursday.
All I can be sure of is, they will start a pre-order but my question is, are they going to reveal the prices? Let’s see tomorrow.

It is 12 months contract, and no, you are not going to get any phones for free. However, you are going to save up to RM180 in 12 months when you sign up for DiGi Smart plan with 12 months contract. I think there is nothing much to explain. The rule is simple. Get into a contract (only 12 months option available) and you will enjoy RM10 to RM15 rebate (depending on plan) for every month until the 12th month.
From the 13th month onwards, you will go back to the original rate. The call rate and sms rate will all follow the original Smart Plan rates. You will get monthly data as usual. So there is no other changes or disadvantages just because you are paying RM10 to RM15 less
More info at DiGi’s website.

DiGi has discontinued their existing postpaid plans and came up with 3 new postpaid plans to replace them. The new postpaid plans gives you a complete package such as minutes + SMS + data (excluding DG 48 Plus).
I wonder why didn’t DiGi give any internet quota for DG 48 Plus because it looks awkward when 68 and 88 are having them.
Now, let’s look at the plans below :

Previously when DiGi set the lowest price for Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 as RM1549, I was wondering why is it priced the same as Galaxy Note? If it was me, I will go for Note due to the specification.

UPDATE : DiGi has revised the prices. More info HERE.
DiGi has finally published the bundled offer for Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 together with their Smart Plan. You can get one for as low as RM1549 (with DiGi Smart Plan 68, 24 months contract).
I am just wondering how many of you will go for the Tab 7.7 instead of Galaxy Note. Both are priced the same but Note has a better spec in terms of camera, isn’t it? Do you think that a 51oomAh battery will make a difference on a 7.7 inches Super AMOLED Plus display? What do you think?

DiGi has posted in their Facebook page that they will be selling the 1st Super AMOLED Plus tablet. We don’t need a genius to guess the tablet. Obviously it is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7.
They will be introducing this tablet together with DiGi Smart Plan tomorrow. There is nothing else for me to guess at the moment. Let’s wait and see what has DiGi got to offer.

DiGi is offering Jusco voucher worth RM120 when you sign up for their Smart Plan with phone bundle. Well, it doesn’t matter whether you subscribe to Smart Plan 48 or Smart Plan 68. Read more »
