U Mobile has also started selling Nokia Lumia 800 for as low as RM1049. From the image above, you will already have a very good idea on the packages offered as well as the easy payment option.

The easy payment mode is using your credit card where you then have to pay monthly to your bank. More information about the Package and installment option at U Mobile’s website.

Thanks to DiGi, we finally got to know that the RRP of Sony Xperia S is RM1899. DiGi has mentioned that you can get this device in your hands on 16th March, a day after the official launch in Malaysia if you make an order via DiGi’s Online Store (well, that is subjected to several conditions as usual).

As usual, you can get this phone at a cheaper price when you subscribe to DiGi Smart Plan. Below are the details :

The screen shot above was taken from DiGi’s Facebook page. From the image above, you know that DiGi will be the next to announce something about the Sony Xperia S, after U Mobile. I am very sure that they are not going to start selling tomorrow, because the official launch date for this device in Malaysia is only on the 15th, which is next Thursday.

All I can be sure of is, they will start a pre-order but my question is, are they going to reveal the prices? Let’s see tomorrow.

U Mobile will be the 1st telco in Malaysia to say something about the Sony Xperia S. I am not sure whether they will be the 1st to sell it but I am sure that they are the 1st (and the only one for now) who is doing ROI (registration of interest) at their website.

There is no indication on how much will the price be together with U Mobile package. If you are interested, you can register any time starting today up yo 13th of March. According to U Mobile at their ROI page, they will contact those who have registered starting from the 14th onwards.

Are you registering to get the new Sony Xperia S?

It is 12 months contract, and no, you are not going to get any phones for free. However, you are going to save up to RM180 in 12 months when you sign up for DiGi Smart plan with 12 months contract. I think there is nothing much to explain. The rule is simple. Get into a contract (only 12 months option available) and you will enjoy RM10 to RM15 rebate (depending on plan) for every month until the 12th month.

From the 13th month onwards, you will go back to the original rate. The call rate and sms rate will all follow the original Smart Plan rates. You will get monthly data as usual. So there is no other changes or disadvantages just because you are paying RM10 to RM15 less :)

Hotlink has introduced their new prepaid plan which is called as Hotlink Bagus. The starter pack of Hotlink Bagus is only going to cost you RM5 (including free 10MB data*) and the rates are better compared to previous Hotlink plans.

Now, what are the rates like for this new Hotlink Bagus plan? The call rate is RM0.12/min for calls to Activ10 numbers. If you call a Maxis/Hotlink number, you will be charged RM0.20/min if you have RM10 and above credit. What will happen if you have less than RM10 credit? Then you will be charged RM0.24/min. The same concept applies when you call a non-Maxis number where you will be charged RM0.30/min (RM10 and above credit) or RM0.36/min (less than RM10 credit).

Celcom is now offering Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 too, and you have to rush if you find this deal interesting because 1st 300 customers will also receive a free book case worth RM249 (only at selected outlets).

DiGi was the first to offer this device and now Celcom is joining the competition as well. I’ve not seen anything from Maxis. Lately they are being very quite.
