Nokia has recently introduced the Nokia 808 PureView, a Symbian device….erm, what? Not another Symbian…..but I am sure that it is going to make a difference in smartphone industry :) .

The highlight of this phone is the 41 Megapixel camera. I know that some of you might not be interested with pixels because it all depends on a larger sensor for a better picture. Good news is, this Nokia 808 PureView comes with the largest camera sensor to date – 1/1.12″ sensor. Yes, overall the camera spec is much better that its sibling, the Nokia N8.

And of course, you do not need to worry that others features in the phone is going to be awfully bad just because it is running on Symbian OS (a wrong perception of Symbian phones). This phone comes with 1.3Ghz processor, the fastest among Symbian phones so far.

I am eagerly waiting for this phone to arrive in Malaysia. Hopefully the price will not be too expensive :) . If you would like to know about the 41 Megapixel technology in Nokia 808 PureView, you can refer HERE.

The official price for Nokia Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 is revealed. Well, it is not a big surprise here because those prices were already “leaked” by some websites about 10-15 days ago.

The best part here is, this particular store in Johor Bahru is doing a stock clearance. Well, not all the phones are actually cheap. Some devices e.g. the Nokia Asha 200 was already RM255 when it was launched. I don’t see what they mean by stock clearance for this phone.

However, many other phones, such as the Nokia N9 and some of the Symbian phones, are sold at quite a good deal. This is the time to grab them :) . I am not sure whether this offer is applicable in other stores (which looks unlikely anyway) but I will check in stores nearby.

If you are using the phones mentioned above, then you have a good news. You can now update your phone to Symbian Nokia Belle.

If you are thinking that this upgrade will not make any difference compared to previous versions, then it is a MUST to perform this update because you will be proven wrong :) .

[Continuation from Part 1]

The strength of BlackBerry - As for me, the BlackBerry PERFECTLY does whatever it can do. It is not like Nokia E6 where you will find some bug in its key functions. One of the problem that I have in my Nokia E6 is the email system where it is not integrated with the phone. It functions more like a 3rd party email client and the notifications are awfully bad. Luckily, there is a widget feature in this phone. Otherwise, I need to click on each and every email’s inbox to check whether I’ve received any new email (like how I did on my Nokia E72).

Being the fan of both Symbian QWERTY phone and BlackBerry QWERTY phone, I would like to share my point of view about the Nokia E6 and BlackBerry phone this time.

The 1st QWERTY phone that I started to use was actually a Nokia because the BlackBerry was not very popular in Malaysia at that time. After about one and a half years using my Nokia E71 (my second QWERTY phone after Nokia E61), I had this question. “Which one is better, a BlackBerry or Nokia?”.

I am currently having a Nokia E6 with me. When I first got this phone (about 11 days ago),  I was so excited because of the touch screen + QWERTY interface. As some of you may already know, I love QWERTY phones. Nah, I was never a fan of iPhone or any touch screen phone without a physical keyboard. The only reason is because a virtual keyboard can never beat a physical keyboard when it comes to typing  e.g. emails, chat, sms & so on.

I have a lot to say about this phone but it will all be done in stages. As for now, I will briefly introduce this phone.

To those who are waiting for Nokia E6 QWERTY phone, you do not need to wait long. Nokia has started its pre-order for this phone and that gives us an indication that the phone will arrive in Malaysia very soon.

The price has not been revealed yet but I am sure that those who have pre-ordered their units will be informed about the price before the launch day. I guess that the price will be anything from RM1100 to RM1200.

Now, I will briefly say a few things about the pre-order. That includes the good & bad about this process.
