Thanks to DiGi, we finally got to know the RRP (recommended retail price) of iPhone 4S in Malaysia.
The price is quite OK if you ask me. Yes, anything above RM2000 is definitely expensive for me (probably not for you) but at least, it is very much cheaper compared to what the sellers of imported iPhone 4S are offering.
Furthermore, it is glad to know that Apple Online Store will be selling the phone too. This eliminates the price hijack, which was done for iPhone 4 – get it on a contract or pay premium (much higher than RRP).

Finally, iPhone 4S is on its way to Malaysia. It was quite disappointing that Malaysia was the 1st to receive iPhone 4 but when iPhone 4S was launched, our country’s name was totally missing from the list. If I am not mistaken, we are the 4th or 5th batch now.

YTL Comms. has released their Yes Life update for iOS 5 after such a long time. I am surprised that it took them so long to just release an update. Anyway, it is now all good and working as before.
The new version (1.20.230.29) is about 7.9MB. Although this update is mainly for bug fix and compatibility fix for iOS5, it also comes with new features such as call recording, delivery status notification and many more.
More info about this at iTunes.

iOS 5.01 update is now available for download. You can download it via iTunes or on the air (OTA). The update file is no longer as big as before. It is just 39.4MB and can be downloaded within minutes (depending on your internet connection speed).

If you are unable to use your Yes Life app after updating your device to iOS 5, fret not, because Yes 4G is aware of this problem.

Good news. Apple iOS 5 for your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad is now available for download via iTunes. To do this upgrade, all you need is the latest iTunes (v10.5) and a compatible device of course
.

Have you used the Facebook app for iOS? No, I am not talking about the latest version but the previous one where you need to zoom 2 times on your iPad. Whenever I use it, I feel it a little awkward due to the 2x zoom and blurry view, and I have no choice but to get the alternatives such as MyPad or Friendly for iPad.
