I just realised that DiGi has ended their pre-order for Nokia Lumia 800. There is something unusual this time compared to DiGi’s previous pre-order endings.

If you see, they have completely removed Nokia Lumia 800 from their website (except for the banner above which is shown at their home page). This phone has also been removed from their online store. All the pricing details has been removed and obviously something is wrong somewhere.

Advert :

Last week when I met the people from Nokia, they were very reluctant to give any information about the pricing for Nokia Lumia 800 and Lumia 710. For most of the questions that we’ve asked, their answers were, “we will officially announce on the launch day”.

So has DiGi gone against Nokia Malaysia’s terms on not to reveal the details of Nokia Lumia 800? If yes, then this will not be the 1st time. Previously DiGi has done something similar with Apple where they have revealed the details of white iPhone 4 before official words from Steve Jobs. At the end, they were the last to release the white version (and it took DiGi very long after other telcos have released it).

UPDATE 10th Feb 15:09 – The link is up again (and Nokia Malaysia has officially announced the RRP of the phone at their FB & Twitter page this morning).
