Thanks for the tip! Apple should use iOS notification to notify users about the update.

Bro, are you experiencing poor battery performance after the upgrade. I feel like battery life on my iPad has deteriorated badly since this update from 87 percent to 65 just with about 1 and a 1/2 hour of browsing.

my iPad battery life is bad since iOS 5.0, I don’t notice worse battery life for 5.0.1. However, there are already many users report worse battery life after iOS 5.0.1 update.. Well, let’s wait for 5.0.2 then. *shrug*

Thanks for your reply. Really appreciate it. Just to get your opinion, with notifications and locations turned off, brightness at 75%, I am getting a little over 5 hours of use with word processing, browsing, and emails no videos at all. In your opinion is that figure alright or do you think I should get it checked up at the retailer?

If your iPad’s battery life drops only AFTER you updated to iOS 5.0.1 then it is the software problem, which we hope Apple will fix it (again) soon.
