Research In Motion (RIM) has announced today that they will offer premium apps and games worth more than USD100 for FREE as a sign of appreciation to their loyal customers who were patient enough during the recent server outage.

The recent outage was the worst ever in RIM’s history. There were even news saying that many of the BlackBerry users have switched to iPhone 4S due to this outage. Well, great that RIM is doing something about this.

The apps will be available for download via BlackBerry App World in coming weeks (starting 19th October) and you can download them for free till 31st of December this year.
