Have you read my previous article regarding the 6% service tax on mobile prepaid where telcos has decided to push to its subscribers? I have a good news for you (which you have probably read in the newspapers anyway). The tax which was planned to be implemented on the 15th of this month has now been deferred.

Deferred? What is that? In layman terms, you do not need to pay the tax yet. However, this will not be permanent. The tax can be implemented anytime in the near future and hopefully all mobile prepaid users will be prepared for that day.

Now, what have I got to say about those who got panic due to the service tax and bought reload cards in bulk? That is a very bad move I would say. As mentioned in my previous article, there are a lot of risks involved when you keep an unused reload coupon for a long time. I was also told that some of the bulk buyers intend to make profit out of it but again, that is a bad move.
