Thanks to BlackBerry for inviting me for a preview session @ media launch today. I had a great time there looking at all FOUR BlackBerry devices. Erm….FOUR? Yes, that includes the BlackBerry Curve 9360 which was just launched today by RIM

Overall, the event was simple and straight forward. There were no fancy talks involved. The people from RIM shared some information about the Bold 9900, Torch 9810 and Torch 9860. The devices will be on sale starting from the 15th of September. Yes, I was partially right in my previous article where I’ve mentioned that it will be launched in Malaysia on the 23rd of August. Well, that was right. The estimated price for Bold 9900 that I’ve mentioned is also right but unfortunately, it will not be on sales tomorrow or the day after like what I’ve mentioned earlier. The people from RIM have confirmed that the official launch is definitely on the 15th . That is after the festive season which will be a turn off for many of my muslim friends who were planning to buy this device.

By the way, as for now there are sixty seven million BlackBerry users world wide
