Many of you are aware of the key features of Facebook 2.0 because it exists for quite sometime as a beta version. Now, the Facebook 2.0 app is out of beta stage and available for download from BlackBerry App World.

The key feature of the 2.0 version is the chat feature and push notifications. When the chat feature was 1st introduced in Android phones and iPhones, it gave me a feel that I need to switch to those OS’es to keep myself ahead of technology. This is because all latest features and apps were mainly made for them. Well, I am happy that BlackBerry is now having the chat feature as well because for me, a BlackBerry is more like a messenger rather than just a phone. It is a social networking tool, a communicator……….and I can continue saying a lot more. So having a chat feature on the native Facebook for BlackBerry app is a plus point.
