TM is now offering Samsung Galaxy Tab for RM799 when you subscribe to their UNIFI/Streamyx broadband. If a tablet is not something that interest you, why not consider the HP Pavilion G4 Notebook + HP printer deal? It is just RM1449
.
As for the Galaxy Tab, it is the Wi-Fi only version and the retail price is RM1199. So, you will be saving RM399 with this deal. The RRP of the laptop + printer is RM2168, according to TM.

By looking at the table above, the price of the device is the same no matter which package you take up. You will also be tied up in 24 months contract except for Samsung Galaxy Tab with TM Broadband & Phone upgrade where you are only tied into 12 months contract..
Oh ya…I forgot to mention something very important. This promotion is only applicable for existing TM Broadband customers. So it is definitely not for new signups and only applicable when your upgrade your existing TM Broadband (Streamyx) service. Now I am not sure whether new signups are entitled for the offer because at their website (below the table), it is stated that the offer is for existing customers. I’ve also checked when I visited TM Point and I was told the same but Mr. Guest (the commentator below) has given a reference which says that even new signups can enjoy the offer. This is something that you need to ask and confirm before you sign up to avoid confusion
.
I am not sure if this promo is applicable if you upgrade your UNIFI service. Probably you can get the answer by referring to their website.
By the way, I also don’t find anything that indicates the offer period. I seriously have no idea on when will this offer expire. If you are unable to view this offer when you click on the link above, you can safely assume that the offer is no longer valid :p.
