U Mobile is now offering BlackBerry Torch 9800 for just RM1299 if you sign up for their BIS Unlimited plan (24 months contract applies).

The current market price for this device is about RM1800 and there is RM500 savings if you calculate. This offer from U Mobile will be the cheapest if you compare with other telcos. DiGi is offering its BlackBerry Torch 9800 for RM1399 for 24 months contract. You are required to pay RM68 for DiGi’s Smart Plan which is the same price with U Mobile’s BIS Unlimited plan.

So does that sound attractive enough to you? No? Erm….if it did not, probably the information below will make you change your mind.

The 1st 200 people who subscribes to this plan + BB Torch will enjoy a further rebate of RM100. Not only that, if you are a little quicker to grab this offer (to be exact, the 1st 50), you can even enjoy free accessories worth RM340. Now I am not sure if those extra offers makes you feel excited. Well, I am definitely not interested because I am waiting for BlackBerry Bold 9900 which is still taking its own sweet time to get into the market. This phone was introduced on 2nd of May but several sources says that it will only be released after September.

If you have patience to wait, I would suggest you to buy that one instead. Not sure which telco is going to offer it 1st but the specifications is way a lot better than the Torch 9800.
