Previously, I’ve mentioned that Samsung Korea has received about 3 million pre-order for this phone globally, remember? Well, the demand for Samsung Galaxy S II did not slow down after that. Now, this Android smart phone’s sales has been doubled compared to iPhone 4′s sale in Korea .

In the 1st month, about 1 million Samsung Galaxy S II phone was sold and that makes this device the fastest selling smartphone ever in Korea. The number of SGS II phone sold was 100,000 in just 3 days and the amount was doubled on the 8th day. Guess how many phones were sold in 2 weeks? It has passed half a million units. Impressive isn’t it?

People see this phone as Android version of iPhone. Even when the Samsung Galaxy S (1st gen) was released, I felt that it is more like an exact competitor for iPhone. After iPad was launched, Samsung came out with Galaxy Tab as quick as possible to compete with the Apple’s tablet. Now, legal action is being taken by Apple against Samsung for being a “copy cat” . Do you think that Samsung is copying iPhone’s design? Well, even the SGS II looks a little like iPhone 4 .

However, the dual-core Android phone looks very promising. I must buy this phone and write a review once it is out in Malaysia market.
