Samsung Galaxy S II, the successor of Galaxy S 1st gen, is rumoured to be officially in Malaysia stores by mid June (next month).
Yes, you can already find the AP version which is imported from overseas and sold under personal warranty but the authorised version from Samsung Malaysia is not out yet. From what I heard, the price will be RM2099 and it comes with Super Amoled Plus display.

Previously, I’ve mentioned that Samsung Korea has received about 3 million pre-order for this phone globally, remember? Well, the demand for Samsung Galaxy S II did not slow down after that. Now, this Android smart phone’s sales has been doubled compared to iPhone 4′s sale in Korea
.
This time I would like to share something that is totally different. It is not about telecommunications. Nah, it is not related to broadband too. However, this is a also falls under technology. It is a called Plasmacluster Ion Technology.
By the way, this Plasmacluster is not a new technology. It was developed in the year 2000 and since then, numerous research has been done on this technology to make it better and also to prove that it is still effective and useful in today’s world.
Oops, until now, I’ve not explained to you on what is PLASMACLUSTER
. Before that, the word is just too long for me to repeat. So I will call it as PIT. Now, what is this PIT all about? It is an ion which is used to deactivate air borne viruses, bacterias, allergens and fungi. The technology belongs to Sharp and you can find the PIT logo (image above) in various Sharp products such as air purifier, refrigerator, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners and so on.

Do you want to be part of history? Then why not participate in Nokia’s Guinness World Record attempt?
.
From the image above, you already have an idea on what is going to happen. Nokia is inviting you to be part of their attempt to set a record for the most people playing in a mobile phone game relay. So basically, you will compete with thousands of people in Angry Bird game.
Sundays are becoming more special recently because the Telcos are offering best deals to keep in touch with your loved ones.
It started with Hotlink where they are offering RM1/hour call to Maxis/Hotlink numbers every Sunday and now, Tune Talk is giving discounts for on net calls.
How much discount will that be. Does 50% discount sounds too little to you? Hey, they are only charging RM0.16/minute for calls and if it is 50% discount…..oh my, that is cheaper than my postpaid calls
. Well, if you have buddies who are using Tune Talk, then you can save a lot. Well, you must have a Tune Talk number too
.
This offer is only for TOMORROW @ 29th May 2011. So, make use of it
.
Yesterday, Maxis has introduced 3 new wireless broadband plans. These plans are catered for hardcore web users such as those who stream a lot e.g. YouTube and/or download a lot. I’ve mentioned about one of the plans in my previous post. Well, I will go through all the plans again
.
For all these plans, the speed are uncapped, which means you will get the best possible speed (maximum up to 7.2Mbps). However, the speed also depends on external factors such as location, device capability, distance from transmitting tower and number of people using the internet in your area at that point of time. Most of the time, you will not be able to achieve the maximum speed but from what I’ve tried before, you will get a decent speed.

HTC Flyer at RM199? How much do I need to pay for the monthly plan? That was the question running in your mind, correct?
Today, Maxis has answered your question regarding HTC Flyer at RM199.
Alright, I am coming straight to the point. You will still need to pay RM2499 for the HTC Flyer when you get the device together with the plan. So, what the heck is this RM199 (now RM195)? Sorry Maxis, I have to say that it is a pure gimmick.

To those who are waiting for Nokia E6 QWERTY phone, you do not need to wait long. Nokia has started its pre-order for this phone and that gives us an indication that the phone will arrive in Malaysia very soon.
The price has not been revealed yet but I am sure that those who have pre-ordered their units will be informed about the price before the launch day. I guess that the price will be anything from RM1100 to RM1200.
Now, I will briefly say a few things about the pre-order. That includes the good & bad about this process.
