The most referred site by all BlackBerry users, Crackberry.com, has mentioned that the BlackBerry OS 6.1 update will be named as BlackBerry 7. This has not been officially announced by RIM yet but according to Crackberry, the news came from numerous sources and looks very likely that it will be true.
Earlier, it was told that the new BlackBerry OS 7 will be running on BB platform with QNX. Unfortunately, it now looks like just QNX will not be in the picture yet.
