Maxis WiFi – I hope that everyone knows what a “WiFi” is in the 1st place
. So to begin with, I would like to ask a question. Do you think that the Maxis WiFi can be an alternative to your current mobile data plan?
As for me, I think that it is never going to happen. Firstly, Maxis WiFi service coverage is definitely not going to be everywhere. When it comes to WiFi service, the focus will be at big shopping complexes, commercial places etc. Let’s say you are travelling, at a highway. How are you going to access to internet then? Well, that is a point to think of.

Owh, before that, did I showed you the price? Alright, please refer to the image below :

If we look at postpaid subscription, RM3 for a month is definitely worth if you are most of the time within Maxis’s WiFi coverage area. As for prepaid, it can be useful to some and not very useful to the rest. Anyway, that is for you to decide
.
I couldn’t share much about this service because everything about this is down at Maxis’s website. The coverage map is down. Even the “details” link next to each plan is down. So at the moment, I will not say much about this service.
One thing for sure, this WiFi service is not very suitable to replace our current mobile data plan (at least for me). What do you say?
