The latest Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet, Motorola Xoom became the ‘victim’ of tear down by iFixit :) . From the tear down, looks like it is very easy to repair the device because iFixit has rated the Motorola Xoom as 8 out of 10 (10 being the easiest). Well, of course, the ‘easiest to repair’ claim is after you manage to open all 57 screws :P .

It was also mentioned that the LCD panel is not fused to the board. That will be a good news because if happens that your LCD broke (this is not a good news anyway), you can easily change it. Other than that, all external components such as camera etc are separately attached to the motherboard. It means that you can easily replace each component without hassle.

A detailed tear down process can be found at iFixit website (LINK)
