Nokia Indonesia is going to launch the latest QWERTY Symbian phone, the Nokia E7 in Indonesia by mid-February. As for now, this phone is being heavily promoted in the country. Nokia has also advertised this phone in the local newspaper. Three full pages in newspaper has been taken by Nokia, to promote the Nokia E7. Hmm, that is a grand introduction for this phone model.
I’ve just visited DiGi Centre in SohoKL yesterday. It was a long wait although there was not much customers there. While waiting for my turn, I was spending my time, testing all the latest phones near the wall. Unfortunately, there are not much info about this RM88 sale from DiGi, even at their website. When I went to the specified DiGi Centre in SohoKL, I was also not able to find anything except for the big banner that you can see in my previous post (LINK).
I am not sure on why are they being so secretive with this offer. However, I am sure that for some of you, it is a very attractive deal.
From what I got to know after spending nearly 2 hours there, there are a lot of phones offered (well, out of that only the BlackBerry Curve 8520 was sold at RM88). There are some phones where you need to take up other plans such as DG30, DG50 or DG150. More details in the image below :

DiGi is having a sale starting today (28th January 2011) at the DiGi Centre in Solaris Mont Kiara. You can purchase a phone for as low as RM88 when you subscribe to their Smart Plan (24 months contract I believe).
Not sure about the exact phone offer but they have specified the phone brands – HTC, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Nokia and BlackBerry.

This promotion will be going on till 28th of February, while stock lasts.
Have you watched the latest ad from DiGi regarding CNY celebration? As usual, it is quite interesting
After watching this clip, you know that you are going to face some network issue during CNY because all Yellow Mans are going back hometown
(just joking)

I am sure all of you know what is Jobstreet all about. Whenever we are looking for a job, we will usually try our luck at Jobstreet.com as well because it is a major internet recruitment site in Malaysia.
Now, looking for jobs at Jobstreet has become much more easier with Jobstreet mobile app. You can easily search for jobs and even apply for your dream job with just a few clicks on your phone. The best thing is, this application is available for all popular smartphones/tablets such as Android, Blackberry, iPhone and even iPad.

SenHeng, a popular electrical store in Malaysia, is currently having a promotion for CitiBank credit card holder where you can purchase smart phones with attractive rebates.
This promotion has already started on the 20th of January 2011 and the last day of the promotion is on the 28th of February 2011.

I am not sure what “Tong Tong Chiang… un-Tung un-tung CHIANG!” is. The only hidden meaning that I can find (is it only meaningful for me?) is “un-Tung” which sounds like profit @ untung in malay.
After cracking my head, I found out that the promotion is for DiGi prepaid users where if you top-up RM30 and above from 25th to 27th January 2011, you will get FREE 28 DiGi to DiGi SMSes. Not only that, you will also get FREE 18 minutes DiGi to DiGi calls.

Last time when Tune Talk introduced an affordable rate of 5 cents for 1Mb of data, I was praising them for having such a practical rate compared to other telcos. During that time, all other telcos were charging RM0.10 for just 10Kb of data which doesn’t make sense at all. In other word, it is a DAYLIGHT ROBBERY.
Now, it is nice to see U Mobile coming up with a better PAYU rate for its broadband and mobile internet users. Well, obviously someone who needs to use internet for a long period of time will be taking up some monthly plan. What if the person is just using internet on a casual basis? There were cases where users were charged more than RM50 for just one session (5-10 minutes surfing). For those kind of users, you may want to consider switching to U Mobile (or even Tune Talk).
