About last month, TM have decided to start charging an installation fee of RM200 to new UNIFI subscribers. They have also given a date of the implementation which is on the 1st of October 2010 (another 2 more days to go 
).
Now, have they changed their mind not to implement it? Erm, partially yes. They are still going to charge RM200 installation fee except for UNIFI VIP 20 & BIZ 20 subscribers.
This announcement was made via their Twitter page. For those who are planning to subscribe to UNIFI but not taking up VIP 20 or BIZ 20, you may want to rush to the nearest TM Point to subscribe before 1st of October.
Well, for those who stay outside Klang Valley, it is unfortunate because you can’t subscribe to UNIFI yet 
. Hopefully TM have some kind of promotion when they launch UNIFI in other states.
