Yes, Apple has officially announced that they will not give free case after 30th September. As we all know, the case was given to solve iPhone 4′s antenna reception issue. Looks like we will not receive this free case when iPhone is officially launched in Malaysia. That is a sad thing.
That was the exact screen-shot taken from Apple’s website. The phrase, “We now know that the iPhone 4 antenna attenuation issue is even smaller than we originally thought.” is not good enough to let us know whether this issue has been solved in the newer batches of iPhones. Some people have already tried this phone here, in Malaysia, and did not encounter any major issues with the antenna. So I hope that it is all fixed.
