Yeah, you have read that right. I’ve finally decided to sell my less than 1 month old Blackberry Storm 2 for only RM1. It was bought on the 7th August but 3 days later it ended up in drawer. There are 2 reasons behind this. Firstly, it was quite big & heavy. I don’t prefer to put it in my pocket but to hold in my hand instead. Secondly, I send emails & use instant messaging more than making calls. So the wow factor that I had when I was using my Blackberry Bold 9000 is not found in this classy touch-screen PDA.

Somehow I was still impressed with the phone due to its classy look & features too. The weight factor was not bothering me that much because it actually gives you a solid feel. That is when I decide to use it as my secondary phone. After that, I was carrying 2 Blackberry’s with me. On my left was Blackberry Bold 9000 & on the other hand was Blackberry Storm 9520.
Carrying 2 Blackberry phones around made me feel awkward. People who knows about it might be thinking, “is Rodger showing off? Anyway he looks like a clown with 2 Blackberry’s…haha (joke)”. Silly me, the BB Storm does not have a BIS since my BB Bold is already subscribed to it.

That’s when I decide to sell my newly bought phone, only in 3 days after purchasing it. Furthermore, 3 days later, I got an offer for iPhone 4. At first, it was bought by my friend for his use. The touch screen was quite nice & I also felt that I need to keep up with the “poking the screen” trend
. Since I need a secondary phone anyway (anything except for Blackberry), I decided to get an iPhone
I tried posting my sales in Lowyat.NET, a popular Malaysia forum on the 11th but I was not “bumping” it enough to gain attention. Instead of waiting & wasting my time, I’ve decided to put it off for an auction, starting from only RM1
. My loss is your gain

Today, I am happily carrying a Blackberry Bold on my left & iPhone 4 on my right. I still hear people saying the same as before except for the, “he looks like a clown with 2 Blackberry’s…haha (joke)”
