For the past few weeks, the people in RIM were scratching their heads due to the recent issues where some countries are planning to ban RIM’s Blackberry services.
According to these countries, RIM’s database is too secure for its users where even the government can’t have access to tap any suspicious communications. This makes the countries insecure instead. Now, RIM has made a proposal where local security agents will monitor the service & the Indian government can tap into Blackberry users’ email whenever necessary.

Good news folks. Are you using HTC Desire? It is time to upgrade to Android 2.2. Yes, it is now available for download. You can use FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) update using your telco’s data service (data charges may apply for those who are not subscribed to unlimited plan) or by using a WiFi if you do not want to incur telco’s data charges.

Starting from 1st October 2010 onwards, installation of UNIFI is no longer free. You will be charged an additional of RM200 for just the installation. However, it can be done divided to 5 months installment where you will be paying RM40 every month in your bill for the 1st 5 months. The so called good news according to TM is, all the equipments like router, DECT phone, IPTV set up box etc is actually worth up to RM800 but they will still give them for free.
Owh, RM20 million suit. That is a huge amount. Noor Haslina Abdullah, 39, a CEO of a private college in Terengganu, has filed a suit against the telco which is based in Kuala Lumpur for revealing her sms contents & phone conversations to 3rd parties.
Noor Haslina says that she received a package on the 11th March, which contains information about her sms exchanges & a thumb-drive that has a phone conversation recordings.Oh boy. I am just wondering which telco company is that. That is dangerous.
Anyway, there is not much information that I can get regarding this issue. Hopefully I can find more from other sources. Meanwhile, you may refer to the existing sources that I’ve found to get more information regarding this news

Recently Mozilla has launched their mobile version of Firefox for Android & Nokia N900 It is called Fennec. Have you used Mozilla Firefox for desktop version? Then you should already know how powerful the internet browser is
Mobile version @ Fennec is not inferior compared to a desktop version. It has many functions which makes you feel the same as a desktop version @ Firefox.
Rodger, you got to be kidding me. N900 runs on Maemo OS & NOT Android OS. What? Now possible? WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Yes friends. There are some major development going on by a community where they are trying to implement Android OS into Nokia N900. The NITDroid project is progressing well but there are still some hiccups & need fixing. At the moment, there is nothing much for me to say because it is not even released. Furthermore it will neither be an official one from Nokia nor Android.
There is also a rumour going on that Nokia N900 may be able to boot up dual OS (can have 2 operating system installed). This is not well proven yet but since there are some effort on this, I think it is worth to mention. Will publish more source of information when there is proper result available.

Yeah, you have read that right. I’ve finally decided to sell my less than 1 month old Blackberry Storm 2 for only RM1. It was bought on the 7th August but 3 days later it ended up in drawer. There are 2 reasons behind this. Firstly, it was quite big & heavy. I don’t prefer to put it in my pocket but to hold in my hand instead. Secondly, I send emails & use instant messaging more than making calls. So the wow factor that I had when I was using my Blackberry Bold 9000 is not found in this classy touch-screen PDA.
