All this while, my house phone bill was not under my name. I thought of converting it to my name. Well, it includes Streamyx as well. Which means, both house line & Streamyx was under person A & I wanted to convert it to my name.
I’ve taken the forms from Menara TM & after getting all relevant document from the existing owner, I went to TM Point in Titiwangsa. Firstly, I was told that I can only transfer phone line & to transfer Streamyx, the existing owner must give an authorization letter. I just don’t understand that. Both Streamyx & phone bill was combined & it was under the same person. Why do I need to get a separate letter just to transfer Streamyx? Well, that was ridiculous for me.
Then I proceed with changing the phone line’s ownership 1st. While going through the process, the staff told another thing. I need to make payment…………wait, this is not my complaint. My frustration came in when she told me that I have to come again after few days after ownership transfer is done. Which means, I have to go through the queue, waiting for number, waste my time…all over again. I asked whether I can pay using other method or make payment now. Unfortunately I do not have any other option. That is terrible.
Third hassle was when I was told that my Streamyx will be disconnected until the ownership transfer is successful. It will be reconnected after that IF THERE ARE STILL EMPTY PORTS AVAILABLE. I cannot terminate & I cannot use it now. So what is the purpose of having it?
Everything was done (this was Friday) & I left the place. On Monday, I went back to make the payment after received a call from TM. I paid RM95 for the ownership transfer & this guy named Azizan attended. I am not sure whether this guy have problem or what. He was just damn blardy rude. I told him my intention & he told back, “Oh, so you nak buat payment lah! ” Don’t TM provide proper training for their staff on how to be polite & professional? This unmannerly guy was using the word “you, yOU & YOU” all the way. Come on TM, this is not the way to treat your customers.
Alright, leave it aside. Once payment etc done, I was told another shocking news by this bugger. Looks like I need to come again to TM Point after 3 days. Why? To connect back my Streamyx. What the heck is that? Can’t it be done automatically? Why do I need to go there again? To press the button to on Streamyx? Why are their procedures is such a hassle?
I asked that staff, “Do I need to come to activate Streamyx or the owner must come?” He told me that I can go & activate. This happened today, which is Monday. I am without Streamyx for the past 4 days & now another 3 days. All together will be 7 days. Is TM going to minus off the fee for the days I am unable to use Streamyx?
The staffs can’t provide an answer to any of my questions. Who else can answer me?
