Yes, it caught my attention too. Firstly do you have an idea on what am I talking about? Nokia users with GPS will already have a clue by now. I just got to know that Nokia is now offering free lifetime navigation for all its phones which supports Ovi Maps. That is not only for new purchases but even for existing phones that you already own.

Nokia Ovi Maps Free

It is simple to have your free map. Just download the latest version of Ovi Maps & you can enjoy high-end walk and drive turn-by-turn voice navigation at no cost at all.

Well, now most of you might think what the heck am I trying to prove here. I know that many of you may prefer Garmin over Ovi due to the extensive support. Hey, Nokia Maps has helped me many times when I was not able to find a place via Garmin. It is a great backup for me, & they are improving. Furthermore it is free & most of you guys who are using a cracked version of Garmin should do good to the developer by either paying for it of use a free alternative, which is now Nokia’s Ovi Maps :)

I just received an e-mail from Maxis today. Few days ago, I’ve made a booking for Blackberry’s latest bold 9700 from hotlink. Look’s like my phone is ready for collection. Well, the price is not attractive. It is a whooping RM2099. After made the booking, I felt that the price was quite expensive & decided to stick with my current phone. Now, after I’ve received their e-mail, I am thinking again whether to buy the Bold 9700 or not.

What got me attracted to the e-mail is their BIS offer bundled together with the phone. Can you imagine paying just RM30 per month for unlimited blackberry service? Wow, that is way better than what DiGi is currently offering. Anyway, there is a catch. You need to pay RM30 x 12 months = RM360 lump sum. It will be charged to your 1st month bill & this is only applicable for postpaid user.

Well it is not a big catch anyway. RM360 is affordable. Now I am thinking again & again on whether I should get this bold or not.

Below is the screenshot of the e-mail that Maxis has sent to me.

Should I get one?

Does this has an ending?

The title says it all. Have you actually seen a phone that runs on coke? Yeah, you got me right. It doesn’t use battery power but COKE POWER!! :0

The inventor of the phone, Daizi Zheng has designed this phone which uses power of carbohydrate which is produced by sugar. So it is not only coke, but you can use any sugary drink.

The best part is, this phone can last 3 times longer than normal lithium-ion battery that we are currently using :)

Isn’t that interesting?

I received this e-mail yesterday from All IT hypermarket. Looks like they are having promotions this weekend. They are selling Dell Mini 1011 at RM999.

Well, that’s only for those who have a member card. Secondly, it is only 1 unit per member. I am not sure what the specifications of this laptop because Dell Malaysia doesn’t even have this model in their website. The 1st thing that came to my mind after looking at their site is, “are they selling something which is obsolete?” :)

Anyway, it looks like a good deal for those who wants to own a budget laptop which is easy to carry around.  By the way, this offer is only on the 9th of January & you can only buy the laptop at that price in their branch in IKANO.
